About Me
Welcome to Kingdom Heart Mom! My family is my first ministry. I home school our youngest daughter and I have gift and love of hospitality. I love to share my recipes, adventures and ideas with you. I hope you're inspired and blessed by it all!
I am passionate about prenatal health; I promote and encourage natural childbirth, extended breastfeeding, cloth diapering, attachment parenting, natural family living, whole and organic foods. For over 20 years it has been my mission to spread the knowledge of natural family living through Murrieta and the surrounding areas. I have coordinated many exciting educational events with my husband, Dr. Todd Donohoe, D.C., D.I.C.C.P.
I co-founded the Temecula Valley Chapter of Holistic Moms Network, a non-profit support and discussion group dedicated to supporting families with an interest in natural health, green living, and mindful parenting.
In 1993, I delivered my son, Silas, 9.7 lbs naturally with help from a midwife, in a Los Angeles area hospital. My second child, Marissa, 8.5 lbs. was born at home in 2005 with the help of a midwife and my husband. Our oldest son and two step-children were present and witnessed the birth of their newest sibling. I attended Bradley Method classes in order to successfully birth naturally.
My holistic passions are natural childbirth and extended breastfeeding. I stay abreast (pun intended) of many activism issues surrounding birthing, breastfeeding and natural healing.
I encourages all women to listen to their God-given intuition when making decisions regarding their health and the health of their children.
